Andrew Sidebottom
Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Nottingham
Andrew Sidebottom has been consultant OMFS in Nottingham since 2001. He introduced 3D model planning in Nottingham in 2001 and planned the first distraction case on 3d models in 2003 with Jason Watson.
He has developed a National Centre of excellence in TMJ Surgery in Nottingham working with Dilip Srinivasan and Suj Rajapakse, delivering over 40 alloplastic replacements yearly.
Andrew has been NICE adviser, NHS England adviser, BJOMS TMJ lead and associate editor for 10 years. He is past president of European TMJ Surgeons Society and is Patron for the Indian TMJ Surgeons Society.
Daljit Dhariwal
Consultant OMFS and TPD for HEE Thames Valley
Consultant for 14 years in Oxford after completing South Wales training programme and Craniofacial fellowship at Birmingham. Interest areas are: facial deformity, craniofacial / complex trauma, paediatric OMFS and minimal access salivary disease management.
David Richardson

Mr Richardson is a Consultant Carniofacial Surgeon based in Aintree Hospitals, with extensive experience in Orthognathic Surgery and related procedures.

Greg is a Consultant oral and maxillofacial Surgeon. He has been working as a consultant at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2009, and is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol.
His specialist interest areas include Facial Deformity, Skin Cancer and Medical Education and Training.
Greg is currently working with the University of Gloucestershire researching Social Return On Investment following Orthognathic Surgery.
John Scholey
Consultant Orthodontist
John Scholey is a consultant orthodontist and clinical lead at University Hospitals of North Midlands. He qualified in dentistry in December 1992 from Birmingham and worked in practice followed by max fac for 4 years gaining his Fellowship in Dental Surgery ( oral surgery and oral medicine) in 1996 before orthodontic training in Liverpool from 1998-2003. He gained his masters with distinction, and 2 MOrths and gold medals from both RCS Edinburgh and London.
He was then appointed to his consultant post in Stoke on Trent taking over as clinical lead in 2005 expanding the department to 6 consultants 3 trainees and 2 therapist across two sites.
He is a member of the specialist advisory board in orthodontics and an examiner for RCS Edimburgh. He is linked to the west Midlands postgraduate training programme and also teaches on programmes in Bristol and Manchester.
He has won awards from the British Orthodontic Society for clinical excellence, audit and research and has lectured on clinical orthodontics in over 20 countries across the globe.
He has a varied practice with a large cohort of orthognathic cases with his team treating more than 70 cases per year.
Jason Watson
Consultant Maxillofacial Prosthetist
I have worked at NUH since 2002. Building a fully functional regional service offering direct services to patients in Maxillofacial Prosthetics (non implant and implant) Body and Somato Prosthetics, Burns and Pressure splint therapies, Obturators/intra oral implant restorations and Craniofacial Surgical planning. Surgical specialties supported regionally include Maxillofacial Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Cleft Team, ENT, Ophthalmology Restorative Dentistry and Orthodontics. Areas of expertise included craniofacial surgical planning, implant facial prosthetics, body prosthetics, trauma, burns, TMJ disfunction, 3D RP modelling, 3D scanning, 3D photography, MIMICS and SIMPLANT and CAD techniques. I have been involved in R&D collaborations with SME's and Universities regionallly and nationally and have published in Medical, Prosthetic, Dental and Engineering Journals.
Mark Turner
OMFS Consultant
Mark's sub-specialist interest is Orthognathic Surgery leads a busy 70 cases a year OMFS unit at Peterborough City Hospital.
Andrew Flett
Consultant Orthodontist
Andrew qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2006,winning the Malcolm Foster Silver medal for the best undergraduate research project in his year.
After a year in general dental practice, he returned to Liverpool Dental Hospital to complete a year of general professional training, which involved oral surgery, special care dentistry and paediatric rotations.
From 2008, he then spent the next 2 years as a maxillofacial senior house officer moving around the Merseyside region, caring for patients with head and neck cancer and skeletal abnormalities.
In 2010, he began his Specialist Registrar training in Orthodontics at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield and the Royal Chesterfield Hospital. Andrew was awarded a Masters with Merit in 2012 from the University of Sheffield and completed his specialist training in 2013, achieving his MOrth from RCS Eng.
In 2015, he completed his training as a Consultant Orthodontist at Sheffield and Chesterfield and in 2016 was appointed as Consultant at Queen’s Medical Centre.
